City of Boulder Utility Separation IT Roadmap Review
The City of Boulder contracted CLP to perform high-level qualitative analysis and review of their IT roadmap for utility separation plan with Xcel Energy. The IT roadmap includes six (6) major systems – finance and accounting, customer service, planning and engineering, construction/operations/maintenance, resource acquisition, and IT support.
CLPE conducted a qualitative analysis and review of two of the IT roadmap systems – planning and engineering, and construction/operations/maintenance. Our analysis included feasibility assessment of the planned tasks, timeline, and estimated cost range. CLPE, as an engineering wing of CLP, has extensive experience with setting up new operations and maintenance for newly privatized electrical distribution systems and was able to provide meaningful input to City of Boulder’s utility separation IT roadmap.
