Matrix JBSA MIRR Study Phase 2
CLP Engineering is working with Matrix Design Group team on their Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) MIRR study project under a partnership between Alamo Area Council Governments (AACOG), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), CPS Energy, San Antonio Water Systems (SAWS). The main objective is to support the long-term resilience and sustainability of missions on JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, JBSA-Lackland AFB, Port San Antonio, Kelly Field, and the surrounding communities. During phase 1 of this project, we supported the Matrix team with preliminary assessment of energy infrastructure, risk analysis, and development of an array of recommended projects. Under phase 2, we are developing conceptual design of smart grid technologies targeted to enhance energy resilience for the JBSA and surrounding communities.
CLPE in honored to support Matrix Design Group on this project through assessments of energy infrastructure including electrical transmission, distribution, backup and alternative sources, and critical loads supporting military missions and surrounding communities. Our combined efforts and skills will provide AACOG and its partners with top quality services to achieve their desired outcomes for the JBSA MIRR project.
