CLP Engineering is proud to provide Microgrid Design Services to Iowa Department of Defense
As part of Iowa National Guard’s Energy Resilience Conservation Investment Program (ERCIP), CLPE was awarded professional design services contract to design a microgrid system at Camp Dodge, Johnston, IA. This is a perfect fit for CLPE and the Iowa Department of Defense because we are uniquely positioned in microgrid planning, design, and implementation services- especially at military installations.
We are confident in our abilities to use our knowledge, skills, and experience on this microgrid project. Due to our vast experience in working with military bases under utility privatization, we have proven capabilities in both the power systems engineering world and the utility operations world. Our design process welcomes innovation and cutting-edge technology while ensuring long term operability and maintainability. We utilize operator feedback of the systems we have designed and implemented in the past to constantly improve our design going forward. We are looking forward to utilizing our innovative solutions with the Iowa National Guard.
This is all possible with our incredibly talented team of engineers, who have been involved in planning and the design of microgrids for years. The team is looking forward to applying these skills to this exciting new project and delivering high-quality results.
The ERCIP is an initiative we feel strongly about being able to contribute to, since CLPE works to actively seek out solutions related to renewable energy and carbon reduction with our microgrid designs.
