CLP Engineering is partnering with FESCO Energy to deliver state-of-the-art Microgrid for Wisconsin Air National Guard
CLPE is excited to announce a collaboration with FESCO Energy to design and build a one of kind microgrid project at 128th Air Refueling Wing located at Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee. This microgrid project includes using existing backup generation, solar PV, and energy storage. The project was funded by the Department of Defense (DoD) Energy Resilience Conservation Investment Program (ERCIP). FESCO Energy was awarded the design-build microgrid project in early 2024 with CLP being the key teaming partner.
For this project, CLPE is providing detailed engineering and design services and construction of majority of the infrastructure. We are leveraging our in-house procurement, project management, and construction management capabilities and local construction partners to deliver this project.
We believe this partnership will allow both CLPE and FESCO to bring their strengths to the table to create the best possible outcome for Milwaukee Air National Guard. We are very excited to get this project underway with innovative design and value-added engineering.
