PVREA Livermore Microgrid EPC Support

CLP Engineering recently secured a contract with Poudre Valley REA on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) support of the Livermore Community Microgrid project. CLPE worked on the planning and preliminary design of this microgrid project between March and September of 2024. The project is now moving forward for implementation. We plan to support procurement, complete the design, support construction, and commissioning for this project.

This project includes construction of a 125kW/500kWH battery energy storage system (BESS), 150kW of propane generator, and approximately 30kW AC of carport solar PV, and utility interconnection infrastructure near Livermore High School. Our scope of EPC support includes planning, major material procurement support, detailed design, construction, testing and commissioning, and closeout. CLPE plans to actively collaborate with the PVREA team to keep the project under budget and on time, without compromising the quality engineering services of this microgrid project.
