CLP Engineering is pleased to announce a new project to upgrade existing SCADA system with NEC. In this new initiative, CLPE, in partnership with Survalent, will be providing an industry-leading SCADA System integration services to NEC, that will serve their 39,000+ customers across 45,000+ meters of land in Arizona and New Mexico.
This project includes short-term and long-term solutions for security, efficiency, accessibility, and an overall increase in customer satisfaction. Additional features that will be ready for future integration include load control and curtailment, AMI system interface, fault location detection and isolation, post-fault restoration, and systems that incorporate information specifically associated with distributed resources. Improved load forecasting will help to meet demand more cost effectively. After site visits and discussions with the NEC team, we are not only confident in the unique perspectives and experiences we bring to the project, but we are also thoroughly excited to get started on design and implementations. With our firm having strong roots in utility system ownership, operation, and maintenance, we are looking forward to bringing our perspectives and expertise to this opportunity.
CLPE has a proven history of implementing SCADA systems including planning, design, field installations services, testing, and commissioning. In this partnership we plan to draw from our experience and provide unparalleled services to NEC in a timely manner. We are looking forward to sharing more progress on this initiative as we continue to expand our partnership with NEC.
